Anne Marie Stilwell, MD

Interventional Pain Management & Regenerative Medicine Specialist

Anne Marie Stilwell, MD, a Board-Certified Interventional Pain Management Specialist, has practiced interventional pain management and anesthesiology on Staten Island for 24 years. She earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester and received her training in anesthesiology from The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Stilwell was the first fellow to train at the prestigious Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship that includes training at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.

In 2015, Dr. Stilwell expanded her interventional pain practice to include Regenerative Medicine. In addition to traditional pain management treatments, Dr. Stilwell now offers her patients regenerative treatments including Platelet-Rich Plasma, and Celluar Therapies. The use of a patient’s own platelets and stem cells can help with pain and healing of injuries and degeneration of the spine, joints and tendons. These are cutting edge treatments used as an effective alternative to surgery and help her patients get back to doing the things they love.

“I was born and raised on Staten Island and am currently raising my family here. My practice consists of so many extended family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues who are patients so it is important to me to stay trained in the most up-to-date treatments. I want to provide the most cutting edge therapies right here at my office located at the Verrazano Bridge, for the convenience of my Staten Island and Brooklyn patients, avoiding the difficult, time-consuming and expensive trip to Manhattan. I feel it is so important to see, and be personally available for, my patients when they need relief from their pain.”
